Jolly Bones Roger by Theodoru x HeetHeet
Sticks and stones may break your bones… unless you are made of vinyl like Jolly Bones Roger.
Theodoru Badiu is a Neo Pop Artist living in Austria. Along with his toy character designer skills, he works in different media like 3D, vector, traditional drawings, collage, mixed media and photography. The results from coming from an artist's family and mixing it with his work as a taxidermist when he was a teenager are these skully pop cartoon characters.
HeetHeet, a professional platform integrating artists, is building a designer toys community for people who are addicted to art toys and they show us this special collaboration and one of their first creations.
The new Skulltoon character by Theodoru is here and his name is a parody of a mix between the jolly bones that dogs like to chew and the pirates flag, Jolly Roger. The collaboration brings us a 12" figure in the artist's Pop style. Sure you can find similarities with another Pop Icon here but there is a new dark side on these one.
