FAMILY by KAWS (Valentine’s Edition)

Third edition with Pink/Grey variants.

It’s a big year for Brian Donnelly a.k.a. KAWS. One of the biggest names in Contemporary and Urban Art is linking success after success with the releases of his figures and sculptures.

After the huge sculpture on the Changbai Mountains with the KAWS Holiday project (and the limited vinyl figures), the newest reveal is from the FAMILY collection: KAWS Family Valentine's Edition.

KAWS Family edition was dropped last September 2021 in two classic colour palettes: a brown and blue one and a full black edition. If you know about Companions, you should remember that a typical colour is missing and it looks like Valentine’s Day seems the perfect day to release it. On February 11th, KAWS itself showed the new variant in their profiles and announced it for February 14th.

Family collection features two parents as the Companion and the BFF, completed with two kids as the little Companion (carrying a baby Chum or maybe a little Chum toy) and a little Chum. All of them have a special pose for this set that won’t be sold separately.
